“The mask of the red death” es un audio-relato construido a partir del cuento homónimo de E.A. Poe. Para ello hemos contado con la grabación que generosamente nos ha cedido el autor de dicha locución, Chuck Brown, realizada en 2008.

La obra en su formato de audio está hecha con la referida locución del texto en su lengua original (inglés), sometida a diferentes procesos de edición, y la música que lo acompaña, compuesta al efecto utilizando diferentes recursos electroacústicos.

Aunque la obra fue concebida originalmente en formato audio, y es, por tanto, autosuficiente en dicho formato, presentamos esta versión en video con subtítulos, para favorecer la comprensión del texto en el caso de receptores no angloparlantes.

The work we present is an audio-story built from the homonymous story of E.A. Poe. For this we have counted on the recording that has generously given us the author of said speech, Chuck Brown, made in 2008.

The work in its audio format is made with the aforementioned speech of the text in its original language (English), subjected to different editing processes, and the accompanying music, composed of the effect using different electroacoustic resources.

Although the work was originally conceived in audio format, and it is, therefore, self-sufficient in said format, we present this video version with subtitles, to favor the understanding of the text in the case of non-English spearings.
